In 2014, Natalija Walbridge decided to follow her dream of working as a full-time artist. Inspired by the industrial atmosphere of the city of Duluth, she created Dock 5 as an artisan studio making canvas bags with unique prints. She was inspired to name her company “Dock 5” to establish a strong connection with the city of Duluth after watching the ships come into the canal from her home on Park Point. Going all in, Natalija started by converting her nine hundred square foot home into a working studio complete with screen printing equipment and industrial sewing machines. Each Dock 5 bag is handmade from start to finish by Natalija and is created with the consumer in mind by incorporating functional details and Minnesota inspired art. She is excited to give each customer a piece of Minnesota to take with them on their everyday journeys.
Customers are welcome to visit the studio by appointment. Please call or email in advance. 218-213-3958 or firstname.lastname@example.org
